This large financial services firm is looking for a top-tier manager to manage the tax advisory and planning support of the Life and pensions businesses on a 12 month contract.

The contract senior life tax manager

• Minimise tax risk through the management of the statutory reporting and agreement with HMRC
• Formulation and implementation of the annual taxation business plan Achievement of the overall Group Tax business plan, provide cost effectiveness and added value to the group
• Development of tax strategy and ensure that tax risks are identified and steps to mitigate these taken

About you

• Proven track record in life assurance tax in a comprehensive manner.
• Ability to evaluate areas of greatest tax risk within areas of responsibilities and maintain a clear understanding of the impact of tax to the wider group
• Strong technical background with a drive for execution at pace

This is a 12 month contract to start ASAP.
