A FTSE listed group steeped in history has a superb opportunity to join it’s sizeable tax function in a purely strategic corporate tax role. Working with other talented team members, you will play a key role in the commercial decision making process as well as adding value in many different ways.

The corporate tax manager job

Specifically, the role will allow you to:

• Liaise with the business regarding business developments, assess tax impact and minimise tax risk
• Formulate Group policy & procedures and monitor appropriateness.
• Provide tax advice on ad hoc projects, incorporating impact on Group structure
• Manage and advise on Group transfer pricing
• Assist with ad hoc structuring (domestic and international)
• Oversee and manage tax aspects of group acquisitions and disposals (domestic and international) particularly with regards to required due diligence work & impact on Group structure
• Oversee improvements to the “Tax Management System”
• Delivery of training concerning tax matters to the Group and its business units

About you

Tax has a very high profile within this international group and you will be rewarded for your success in the role. In return for the chance to work in this collegiate and supportive team you will be:

• ACA qualified (essential) and CTA qualified (desired)
• Experienced in operating and succeeding in a strategic role
• Coming from either Big 4 or industry
• Experienced in both UK and International Tax
