The team

The team works closely with the FS Tax client teams, the wider Transfer Pricing Practice and Transfer Pricing colleagues overseas, and comprises a mixture of tax professionals, economists and ex-tax authority officials who work with the firm's clients to optimise their business structure and to manage compliance requirements and uncertain tax positions. This involves making robust and practical recommendations on the full range of issues faced by clients across the FS industry, ensuring consistency between tax and commercial objectives and providing support in the event of a tax authority audit. The team is particularly experienced in undertaking advance pricing agreements as part of its global client offering.

Main responsibilities will include:

· Project managing and supporting all aspects of work from the development of transfer pricing planning strategies, compliance programmes and audit defence tactics;

· Preparing transfer pricing reports based on functional, comparability and economic analyses of the client's business to determine and support their pricing position;

· Working with senior staff, clients and HMRC in the development of advance pricing agreements and resolution of enquiries;

· Supporting the Transfer Pricing Practice through the development of new services and analytical tools, and the assumption of practice management responsibilities.
