Seize the opportunity to join a well known and prestigious FTSE group in a split compliance and advisory role. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, this role is suited to someone looking for a broad remit in their next move.

Specifically, this exciting new position will:

• Assist with the preparation of tax numbers to be included in the interim and full year figures for Group reporting purposes
• Provide ad hoc Direct tax advice and support when required by the Group's entities
• Attend internal and external meetings as and when required
• Assist the Head of Tax in compiling information for various group tax information purposes and projects
• Assist with the supervision and management of the tax compliance process
• Liaise with the Head of Tax to manage the submission of the UK returns efficiently thereby ensuring that no penalties are paid within the Group for late filing or non-compliance with statutory deadlines
• Provide support to the Head of Tax on tax advisory and planning initiatives
• Provide ad hoc support to the Group Indirect Tax Manager when required

In return for the opportunity to work for a Head of Tax that will take great care in your career development you should be ACA/CTA qualified with a proven track record in your career to date. The role will be based in Central London although there is a chance the team may relocate to Bucks. Candidates must be able to work in both locations.
