The expatriate tax job

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build and maintain expatriate tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
• Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
• Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for both the firm’s and clients from the tax services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both client and the firm

About you

The ideal candidate will possess the following key qualities

• Strong and motivated team player
• Experienced tax practitioner with reviewing skills and expertise in Japanese Expatriate area.
• Client driven and strategically and commercially aware
• Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
• Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work
• Expat Tax experience (essential)
• Fluency in Japanese (essential)
• Experience of working in a Japanese organisation (desirable)

As well as the following professional qualifications, consideration will be given to candidates with solely Tax experience, in the relevant area, or:

• ACA/ACCA/CA; or
• Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course; or Law qualification.
• CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
